I began my piercing career with an apprenticeship with the legendary Pierre Black of Black Sun Studio in November of 2006. This was a unique apprenticeship as Pierre and I spent a significant amount of time in a classroom type environment where he delivered an intensive theory course. After this I continued to work with Pierre in his alternate studio and performed multiple piercings under Pierre's supervision. I work in the Black Sun tradition of only performing the highest quality work and maintaining consistency in every procedure.

In February of 2008 I began working with Yanick Bleau of Excentrik located at 55 St-Viateur Est in Montréal. Excentrik is the ONLY shop in Montréal that is recommended by Pierre Black for high quality piercing. I work as the primary piercer at Excentrik with Yanick who has been in the industry for over 10 years and has taken all of the Fakir Intensives with Fakir Musafar in San Francisco. Excentrik is one of the only shops in Montréal that specializes in advanced genital piercings. Yanick also performs scarification either by cutting or electro-caudery branding.

I have been involved in the body modification scene for almost 20 years. My interests began with tribal tattooing, piercing, and scarification and over time led to researching other modifications and rituals such as decorative implants, tongue splitting, ear reshaping, self-amputation, suspension, etc. I have always been fascinated with the desire and/or need for humans to modify their bodies, be it for aesthetic purposes or as a rite of passage.
